POSITION TITLE

Application Engineer, Simulation Services

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Application Engineer will provide simulation services, technical software support, and customer software training to current and potential Kruse Analysis, Inc. customers


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide simulation services to Kruse Analysis customers for existing and new projects
  • Provide technical support to current software customers
  • Demonstrate software and explain technical capabilities to potential customers
  • Provide support for events (e.g. trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements)

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BS or equivalent) in Plastics, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in plastic injection molding, part design / mold design / process development
  • 3+ years of CAE 3D modeling experience (preferably Moldex3D, Sigma or Moldflow)

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • CAD experience, preferably SolidWorks or PTC/Creo
  • Polymer or related material knowledge
  • Ability to conduct moldflow simulations and create completed moldflow analysis reports
  • Maintain mold flow report database and promote experience sharing
  • Commitment to best quality standards and product standardization

  • Fluent in English (speaking/writing/reading)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and teamwork orientated
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver technical solutions for projects
  • Ability to generate and evaluate creative ideas
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • High integrity and a self-motivated work ethic
  • Willingness to mentor other team members if needed
