State-of-the-art simulation considers every technical detail of an injection molding process. Rubber and LSR Silicon molding, mold filling, venting, and part curing can be evaluated with a high degree of accuracy. Mold temperatures throughout the entire molding cycle can be assessed – considering an entire mold with all components, including the cooling of the parting plane in-between two cycles. Several consecutive cycles can be performed to analyze a quasi-stationary mold temperature. These conference papers illustrate the full potential of simulation and support the value of utilizing a CAE engineering service.
